These are nice in the gold snake. Seems to work for me as a neutral and goes great with most colors. I am normally a 8-1/2 or 9 and went with the 8-1/2 which worked out great. I think it's difficult to find flattering casual shoes to go with skinny pants - love these and wear them often !

Soft sole comfortable shoe. 8.5 is a tad small, but I suspect a 9 would be too bid. I have neuropathy in my feet, and this shoe doesn't aggravate it as much as other shoes. Sole might be too soft on surfaces such as gravel. However this is a very comfortable slipper like shoe.

My feet are extraordinarily difficult to fit. I have looong dancer toes, size 7.5 AAA with a 4A heel! With such a narrow foot, I stopped buying decent shoes a long time ago because I figured, if nothing fits, I might as well PAY next to nothing for whatever show I can tolerate. I have tried countless brands, but I have never worn a shoe like the Celia. The narrow fit is purrfect. My toes are happy (rare), and the width is dreamy. In fact, I don't think I am accustomed to the feeling of a shoe that fits! My only complaint is that they don't make the heel any narrower, but frankly, the only shoe I have ever purchased that fits my pointy little heel was in Italy when I had them made. Bottom line, I wear them every day. I ordered the tan Nubuck, and have come back to order the Off White, and am on the list for Gold Snake and Yellow. I'm likewise an educator and journalist, so I don't spend money on a whim. I think these shoes are worth it. Enjoy!

I was hesitant to click "submit order" as I am only 24 and even though I get horrible heel pain from wearing cheap flats, I was nervous to spend so much on loafers (AKA mom shoes). I ended up buying these in tan leather and am SO GLAD I did!! I wear them almost every day with jeans and considering how compact and thin these are they provide great support! I used to dread trips to the mall or grocery store, anywhere where I would be walking and end up limping with pain. I can happily report these shoes have gotten me several compliments (they look like a pair GUCCI makes) and my heel pain is gone...I wish I could sleep in them! Definitely buying a pair in black too!
