I have been ordering the Wayne for a number of years and am very satisfied with the shoe. I know I can take it out of the box and it will be a comfortable fit every time. I am disappointed that you have decided to discontinue the taupe color in this shoe. I wear khakis 90% of the time for casual dress, as do many other men I suspect, and the taupe color is just what I need as a casual shoe to match. Please consider restoring the taupe color in this shoe style. Frank

I ordered a pair a few months ago to replace some Duke II's(a similar style). I had been skeptical about the padding, but found that they have been cool, breathable, and comfortable. Haven't been hiking in them yet but in a previous pair of Duke II's, I hiked to the top of Humboldt Peak in CO(14,064 ft.) cross country (no trail) and my feet were in great shape, no blisters. These would probably do even better.

I bought this exact shoe about 15 years ago in cream suede. Extremely comfortable and very durable.

I bought one pair of these shoes in black suede for my father who has a narrow foot and was afraid to try them. He loved them so much that I just ordered and received the taupe color. Very satisfied with this product.
