Arriving this fall is Hush Puppies Union Jack collection. This latest collaboration blends Hush Puppies style with British club culture. The collection of six styles includes a refined line of men’s Brogues, Desert Boots, Chelsea Boots and Brothel Creepers, featuring crepe, gum, stacked and bespoke colored soles teamed with tonal pigskin and suedes, contrast stitching and authentic design details.
British pop culture influencer and designer and son of Wayne Hemingway, designer and founder of the Red or Dead brand, Jack Hemingway, has brought his fashion forward designs and retro sensibilities to this collection and is rapidly gaining a name for himself overseas. Jack has been involved in the hugely successful Vintage Festival cultural festival celebrating the best of British music, fashion, film, art, design and food.
Speaking about the collection Jack Hemingway said; “We haven’t just reproduced the iconic styles from the brand, instead we’ve taken the best bits of Hush Puppies and brought them up to date. The collection is an homage to the great moments in British fashion but placed in a modern context for today’s fashion conscious consumer.” He continued, “We (Jack and Wayne Hemingway) have an affinity with credible vintage trends and styling and wanted to partner with a footwear company who could add to the authenticity of our design concepts and values – Hush Puppies have always been a key footwear choice among varying subcultures throughout the past five decades so it was an easy decision for us to make.”
