This is the 4th pair I have had over the last couple of years, so no surprise that I like them; I particularly like the style and comfort. Unfortunately, in all the boots I have had to date, the soles come away from the uppers after a few months and are therefore at the end of their life, long before their time i.e. the uppers and sole are still in very good condition. This detracts from their value for money and I hope Hush Puppies are doing something about this.

I recently ordered this boot in the dark brown in my regular size 10. The boot was however much larger than expected and I returned it. There was no problem getting a full refund and the P&P was fully paid by HushPuppies. Unfortunately the shoe is now sold out in most sizes and colours, both online and with all the stockists and I can't get it in a smaller size. Other similar brands just don't look like the same quality and comfort. Disappointed.

These Hush Puppies shoes were wearable from the outset-no blisters just comfort. Although the advertising claims some protective qualities for the suede this has yet to be tested. The Desert Boots look to be well made, albeit in the Far East, which makes the price, perhaps, a little excessive. But this review is about the Desert Boots and I congratulate Hush Puppies for their ongoing quality supervision and quick delivery which had me buying a second pair of Hush Puppies about a week after the first pair. JB
